Spring 2009 AWANA Calendar
Introduction to AWANA
Welcome to Ambassadors For Christ Ministries, a thriving community with a shared faith and belief system. Our Spring 2009 AWANA Calendar offers a wide array of engaging activities for individuals of all ages. AWANA, which stands for "Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed," is a dynamic program that inspires and equips young minds in their spiritual growth.
What is AWANA?
AWANA is a non-denominational, Bible-centered ministry committed to the evangelism and discipleship of young people. Our organization has a rich history of fostering spiritual development, instilling biblical principles, and encouraging lasting friendships. At Ambassadors For Christ Ministries, we focus on creating an environment that nurtures faith, promotes community engagement, and impacts lives positively.
Spring 2009 AWANA Calendar Activities
Our Spring 2009 AWANA Calendar is packed with exciting events and activities designed to ignite curiosity, encourage character building, and develop a strong foundation of Christian values. We believe in providing a comprehensive calendar that caters to various age groups, ensuring that everyone can find something that sparks their interest. Let's take a closer look at some of the featured activities:
1. Sparklers (Preschoolers)
If you have preschool-aged children, our Sparklers program is perfect for introducing them to the Word of God in a fun and interactive way. Through age-appropriate activities, stories, and games, we aim to lay a strong spiritual foundation and help them develop a love for Jesus.
2. Torchbearers (Elementary School)
Torchbearers is tailored to meet the needs of elementary school children. This program combines scripture memorization, Bible studies, and engaging games to enhance their knowledge and understanding of the Bible. Our dedicated volunteer mentors provide guidance and encouragement throughout the journey.
3. Trek (Junior High)
For junior high students seeking deeper spiritual connections, we have the Trek program. Trek focuses on exploring the Bible's relevance to their lives, addressing challenging topics, and equipping them with tools for their faith journey. It's a time of self-discovery and strengthening their relationship with God.
4. Journey (High School)
In the Journey program, high school students are empowered to grow in their faith, make wise choices, and impact the world around them. Through small group discussions, engaging lessons, and mentorship, we strive to equip them for the challenges they may face while instilling a strong biblical foundation.
5. Leaders In Training (LIT)
Our Spring 2009 AWANA Calendar also includes the Leaders In Training (LIT) program, which aims to empower young individuals to become future leaders in our ministry and community. LIT provides training, mentorship, and opportunities for personal growth and leadership development.
